Meet Coach Grant

Hi, I'm a family man first and foremost, and my life partner Karen and I are parents to three children who infuse our world with joy and who also continue to teach us about ourselves. Home is where the beach is — I need to be near the water - and for the past 5 years the Cayman Islands have been that home.

I believe that when swimmers truly fall in love with the sport, they swim not just with their bodies, but their hearts — creating magic in the water. My passion is to kindle this fire in the hearts of all swimmers, to make them believe in their infinite potential and to dare to dream big.

I've been a swim coach for twenty-five years, and three of my swimmers swam at the last TWO Olympics in Tokyo and Paris. For two years I was lucky enough to help Jillian and Jordan Crooks - the current world record holder in the 50m freestyle and the first human to break the 20" in a shortcourse pool. My swimmer from South Africa, Aimee Canny, is also making waves in the pool and participated in the last two Olympic Games.
