CIASA 5km Open Water Nationals

The Cayman Islands Nationals 5km Open Water Swim at Seven Mile Beach was an exhilarating event, and I, as a coach, had the privilege of witnessing an intense competition unfold. Dominique, Connor, and Will's dominance from the start set the stage for a thrilling sprint to the finish line.

The 5-kilometer challenge showcased the swimmers' strength and endurance, with the trio leading the pack. The tight race kept everyone on edge, creating an exciting atmosphere along Seven Mile Beach.

The final stretch was a spectacle as the swimmers engaged in a neck-and-neck sprint. The photo-finish highlighted their exceptional skill and sportsmanship.

Congratulations to all the swimmers for their dedication and passion. Special mention to Emil for an impressive 7th place finish.
